If you installed a new version of AutoCAD 2016 then you may notice that in workspace setting AutoCAD Classic is missing . you have to set manually some parameter to see Autocad Classic View.
If you installed new AutoCAD 2015 or 2016 and looking for AutoCAD classic workspace then you might get disappointed because Autodesk removed AutoCAD classic workspace from its 2015 and later release. Although it is recommended to switch to AutoCAD drafting and annotation worksapce because it is more versatile and user friendly but if you still want classic workspace then read on.
Steps:
1) Click on Customize Quick Access toolbar and tick mark the ' show menu bar' option.
2) Type in Command Box RIBBONCLOSE and hit enter.
3) you will see at the top menu bar has come.
4) To enables toolbar ,Go to TOOLS- TOOLBARS- select toolbars and arrange according to your need . Done. you have successfully restored AUTOCAD CLASSIC view.
